How much notice is required prior to a move?
Even though our company is large enough to handle short-notice moves, 2-3 weeks advance notice is suggested.
Is it recommended to receive an estimate in writing?
Yes. In order to accurately assess moving and/or packing conditions stairs, service entrances, and delicate goods, we always recommend that you receive a free on-premise, written estimate.
What is your secret to remaining complaint-free?
We have remained complaint-free with the Department of Transportation and Better Business Bureau because our crews are experienced, career employees, not part-timers. Also, on the rare occasion of damage, all claims are resolved immediately.
Where are the storage facilities located?
In an area known as the “Gateway to Manhattan”, our warehouses are located on 120 Bruckner Boulevard and 500 East 134th Street, Bronx, NY only 8 minutes from our Manhattan office.
What’s the best way to pack breakables?
Double-walled China cartons and Utility boxes are best for crystal, china and all delicate items. Use bubble-wrap, unprinted newspaper and Styrofoam loose fill for packing. Glassine, craft paper, corrugated inserts and custom wood crating services are also available.
